Charity Car Show at the Tamarac Recreation Center
Sunday March 20, 2011
The hosting Charity was My Candles of Hope, Foundation Inc and the foundation was created by Arrigo
employees, Jennifer Huckleberry and Elizabeth Rizzuto.  All proceeds from the event were shared between MCOH and the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life Tamarac Chapter.  Arrigo DCJ Sawgrass is a proud sponsor of the ACS Relay for Life Tamarac and has also donated the trophies to this Car Show event.  We had a great turnout with over 60 cars!!

 BSO Explorer, Natalya, helps direct traffic to the Car Show and Kids Expo.

Other winners received plaques for Second and Third Place.  Also for Best in Show and People's Choice Award.
 Mayor of Tamarac, Pam Bushnell, with Elizabeth Rizzuto and Jennifer Huckleberry of My Candles of Hope Foundation,Inc.
BSO Explorers Tamarac Chapter helped direct traffic and assisted with the Pink Fire Truck.
 Arrigo DCJ Sawgrass Parts Department offered items for Raffle and also had giveaways for the kids.

 My Candles of Hope is a non-profit foundation created to Help Women with Breast Cancer.

Xtreme Indoor Karting raffled off many great prizes including a Family Four Pack worth $100
 The show had a turnout of over 60 cars from every category; Sports, Classic and Muscle!
The event was held at the Tamarac Recreation Center.

Deb's Pit Stop also participated by bringing their famous "Chicago Dogs"!
 We love Hank!  He was the first to arrive and stayed all day long...
All proceeds benefited MCOH and the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life Tamarac. Maypos Ice Cream with some yummy treats for the Kids!
 




2010 Taste of Tamarac Celebration and Car Show

Arrigo Sawgrass hosts the car show annually for the Taste of Tamarac event, which was held on Saturday, October 30, 2010. There are several trophies given including City of Tamarac's Choice, Arrigo's Choice, People's Choice and Best in Show. We gave out hundreds of Arrigo backpacks, drink coolers, and free oil changes!

Arrigo Sawgrass Jeep Show

On June 19th, Arrigo Sawgrasss held it's first annual Arrigo Sawgrass Jeep Show! With Awards, Raffles, Booths, and Food the event was a great success! Click on the button to view pictures and videos.

   




The Annual Taste of Tamarac Car Show

The Annual Taste of Tamarac Celebration was on Saturday, November 14th, 2009 at the Tamarac Community Center.  This family friendly event included sampling of local area restaurants and vendors.  Throughout the day festivities included Children's Face Painting and Activities, an Antique Fair, Raffle prizes, Classic Car Show and more.
Arrigo DCJ Sawgrass was there again to host the Car Show and present the Arrigo Choice Award.

Arrigo DCJ honors All Teachers with
a FREE Oil Change!
Starting May 5th 2009 - May 31st 2009

On National Teacher Day, thousands of communities take time to honor their local educators and acknowledge the crucial role teachers play in making sure every student receives a quality education.

Arrigo DCJ wants to honor all local educators by offering
FREE Oil Changes to all County Teachers!
Starting Tuesday May 5th (National Teacher Day), all county teachers with a valid School ID will receive a Free Oil Change when they bring their Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge vehicle to our Service Department. 
This offer is available at both locations ONLY Tuesdays to Fridays and will end May 31, 2009. 
All teachers are encouraged to schedule an appointment during regular business hours and, don?t forget, our Courtesy Shuttle Service will also be available to those who work close to either the Palm Beach or Sawgrass locations.  
Other offers currently available are 25% off all Parts and 20% All Accessories from our Parts Department.  You must also provide your Valid School ID prior to ordering any parts or accessories, but these parts offers will remain effective until June 30, 2009. 

History of National Teacher Day
The origins of National Teacher Day are murky. Around 1944, Arkansas teacher Mattye Whyte Woodridge began corresponding with political and education leaders about the need for a national day to honor teachers. Woodbridge wrote to Eleanor Roosevelt, who in 1953 persuaded the 81st Congress to proclaim a National Teacher Day.
The National Education Association lobbied Congress to create a national day to celebrate teachers.
Congress declared March 7, 1980, as National Teacher Day for that year only.
National Education Association and its affiliates continued to observe National Teacher Day in March until 1985, when the NEA Representative Assembly voted to change the event to Tuesday of the first full week of May.
The actual date, therefore, varies from year to year.

The Tamarac Chamber of Commerce serves as an information base for current and future businesses, residents and visitors to Tamarac.  The Chamber unites the business community, local government and community organizations in fostering economic development.  The chamber currently represents almost 200 area businesses and is growing rapidly, and Arrigo Sawgrass Dodge Chrysler Jeep is proud to be a member.

The Chamber works hard to strengthen the economic structure of the Tamarac Community and provide greater opportunities for our businesses and residents.


41st Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade

"Jamaica Me Irish!  Reggae St Pat's!"

Vehicles Presented by Arrigo Sawgrass

Join us at the 41st Annual Delray Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade and a multicultural salute to St. Patrick!  The Parade & Island Reggae Party will be held in Downtown Delray Beach, FL on Saturday, March 14, 2009. The Annual Delray Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade is the largest St. Patrick's Day Parade in the state of Florida, drawing over 50,000 attendees to greenest partying town in Palm Beach County.

A FREE Irish Reggae Party at Old School Square from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm featuring South Florida's best Reggae music, beer and food before the parade and it continues to reggae St. Patrick's Day after the parade too. The best part is that it is all FREE!

Arrigo Sawgrass will be on site with the All New Dodge Challenger and the Newly Redesigned Dodge Ram 1500.  We will be handing out special offers for our service and sales department so be sure to stop by.

The Annual "Taste of Tamarac" Celebration was on Saturday, October 25th, 2008 at the Tamarac Community Center, located on Commercial Boulevard in the City of Tamarac, Florida.  This family friendly event included food samplings from local area restaurants and vendors.  Throughout the day, festivities included live entertainment, a Kids Halloween Show and Costume Contest, a Craft Fair, Raffle prizes and more.
Arrigo DCJ Sawgrass was happy to participate and brought with them the All New 2009 Dodge Challenger and a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 for display.  They were also the main sponsor of the Car Show and was honored to present the Arrigo Choice Award.  This community event was enjoyed by many as you can see by the pictures below.
